SOUTH BEND, Ind. ó Luke Harangody had 32 points and 17 rebounds for Notre Dame, which shot 54 percent in a 90-57 victory over No. 5 Louisville that ended a seven-game losing streak Thursday night.
The victory is the largest ever for Notre Dame (13-10, 4-7) against a Big East opponent. It was the second loss in three games for the Cardinals (18-5, 9-2).
No. 18 Arizona State 74, No. 11 UCLA 67
TEMPE, Ariz. ó James Harden had 15 points and a career-high 11 assists as Arizona State (19-5, 8-4) became the first Pac-10 team to sweep the season series with UCLA (19-5, 8-3) since Washington in 2005-06.
“One thing that I told our guys: I certainly want them to find joy in the moment,” Arizona State coach Herb Sendek said. “This is a good night for us.”Derek Glasser had 15 points, including a 3-pointer with 1:12 left that gave Arizona State a 69-67 lead. Darren Collison drove for an apparent tying bucket, but officials ruled that he had charged into Jeff Pendergraph.
ASU still led by two with 36 seconds left when UCLA’s Alfred Aboya was called for a technical foul for touching the ball before Rihards Kuksiks inbounded it. Glasser made two free throws, then fed Pendergraph for a thunderous dunk.

MOSCOW, Idaho ó Gary Wilkinson had 17 points as Utah State (24-1, 12-0 WAC) extended the nation’s longest winning streak to 19 games and clinched at least a share of its second straight conference title.
No. 22 Illinois 60, Northwestern 59
EVANSTON, Ill. ó Demetri McCamey scored 21 points and banked in the go-ahead jumper with 2.9 seconds left to lift Illinois, which rallied from 14 points down.
Trent Meacham scored 12 of his 15 points in the final five minutes as the Illini (20-5, 8-4 Big Ten) rallied from a 57-43 deficit.
Meacham stripped Michael Thompson underneath the Northwestern’s basket with 14.7 seconds left and found McCamey on the right wing for the winning jumper.
The Citadel 78, Appalachian State 73 (OT)
CHARLESTON, S.C. ó Cameron Wells scored six of his 30 points in overtime.
Appalachian (10-13, 7-8 SoCon) used a 3-pointer by Donald Sims and an Isaac Butts jumper with two seconds left in regulation to force overtime. The Citadel (16-10, 11-4) trailed by two with 1:38 left in OT and scored the last seven points.
Kellen Brand led Appalachian State with 22 points, and Marcus Wright had 17.
Chattanooga 76, Elon 54
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. ó Stephen McDowell scored 19 points as Chattanooga (13-13, 8-6) defeated Elon (8-15, 5-10).
Brett James led the Phoenix with 13 points, and T.J. Douglas added 11.
Samford 73, UNC Greensboro 60
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ó Bryan Friday had 23 points as Samford (12-13, 7-9) sent UNCG (4-20, 3-12) to its eighth loss in nine games.
Furman 70, Georgia Southern 60
GREENVILLE, S.C. ó Connor Nolte came off the bench to score 17 points and Furman (6-18, 4-11) beat Georgia Southern (7-16, 5-10).

Arkansas point guard Courtney Fortson (14.6 points, 6.5 assists) was suspended indefinitely by coach John Pelphrey, who wasn’t specific about the reason. Fortson fouled out of a 75-62 loss to Auburn on Wednesday night, and a technical foul was called on the Arkansas team at the same time. … Connecticut guard Jerome Dyson requires surgery on his right knee and could miss the rest of the season.
