The Blue Vine, 209 S. Main St., has not one but two musical acts making their debut in The ‘Bury this weekend.
Trees Leave, a folk/rock duo from Nashville, Tenn. will perform Friday from 9 p.m.-midnight.
Cobi Ferguson and Wyatt Espalin, take turns on rhythm guitar duties when the other is impressing on their signature instruments. Cobi’s polarizing guitar riffs and Wyatt’s fiery fiddle solos add spice to their live performances, which also include bringing out djembe, mandolin and harmonica. Both provide vocals.
Playing together for almost 10 years, they have crafted a sound that marries their bluegrass roots with their love of rock, blues and traditional country music. Their preferred brand of Americana mixes raw, emotional lyrics with equally jarring melodies and instrumentation.
Whether they are plugged in or sitting on the back porch, the urgency in the music and performance is hard to ignore.

Saturday night at The Vine will feature acoustic Americana all the way from Austin Texas with songstress Abi Tapia .
Abi smiles big when she sings. She can’t help it ó she’s having so much fun. But in the world of independent music, where it’s hip to be tortured, she sometimes feels like a Pollyanna.
Following a nomadic childhood, she began her professional music career while living in Portland, Maine. But Abi found herself attracted to the sweet twang and straightforward approach of country music so she migrated to Austin, where she quickly rooted herself in the city’s thriving live music scene.
The inviting warmth of the South, the expansiveness of the midwestern Plains, the pluck and determination of a New England Yankee and a Texan’s independent spirit all come together in Abi’s “wanderlusty” music (a term she proudly displays on her guitar strap).
