Smith ~ Greene Wedding

Leigh Smith and Adam Greene of Oak Island were united in marriage May 19, 2018 at Lockwood Folly Country Club, Lockwood Folly. David Holloway officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Lockwood Folly Country Club.
The bride was escorted by her father, Ty Smith of Harrisburg. Attending as her matron of honor was Regan Shive of Concord. Bridesmaids were Jesse Blackley of Raleigh, Brenna Goodman of Rockwell, Molly Greene of Elizabethtown, Courtney Hicks of Raleigh, Shelby Kesler of Raleigh, Drew Myers of Salisbury, Hannah Perkinson of Raleigh and Sydney Trexler of Salisbury. Junior bridesmaid was Kinley Trexler of Salisbury.
Best man was Jackson Greene of Elizabethtown. Groomsmen were Kyle Brown of Ocean Isle Beach, Lucas Edmondson of Porters Neck, Andrew Frink of Jacksonville, Travis Hicks of Raleigh, Robert Johnston of Porters Neck, Matthew King of Boca Raton, Fla., Ian Maynard of Wilmington, Justin Smith of Raleigh and Fabry Stroud of Porters Neck.
Ava Hicks of Raleigh served as flower girl. Fisher Hicks of Raleigh was ring bearer. Guest registrar was Jennie Hyde of Wake Forest. Tyler Britt of Elizabethtown and Corey Smith of Elizabethtown were ushers. The couple’s dogs are Streak and Oki.
The bride is the daughter of Ty Smith of Harrisburg and Beverly Smith of Salisbury, and the granddaughter of Cecil and Mary Fisher of Salisbury and Richard Smith and the late Barbara Smith of Denton. A 2010 graduate of East Rowan High School, Leigh graduated summa cum laude from North Carolina State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Marketing Education and a Master of Education in College Counseling and Student Development. She is employed at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
The groom is the son of Hobby and Janie Greene of Elizabethtown and the grandson of the late Mack and Frances Greene of Elizabethtown and the late George and Elizabeth Irving of Winnabow. A 2010 graduate of East Bladen High School, Adam graduated from North Carolina State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He is employed at Highfill Infrastructure Engineering, P.C.
After a wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple will make their home in Oak Island.
