Catawba’s men’s basketball team is home tonight at 7 p.m. against Lincoln Memorial in the first round of the SAC tournament.
Fourth-seeded Catawba (18-9) has a 9-3 record at Goodman Gym. The Indians nipped No. 5 seed Lincoln Memorial at home on Feb. 18 but lost at LMU (14-13) by 15 in January.
* Catawba’s sixth-seeded women are at No. 3 Newberry for a 6 p.m. game that will open a doubleheader.
Catawba whipped Newberry at home in February but lost by 16 when it visited Newberry (17-10) in January. Catawba (16-11) is 6-5 on the road this season.

Pfeiffer’s men ended their season with a 102-101 loss to Anderson in the Conference Carolinas tournament on Tuesday. Chris Donald scored 26 points for the Falcons. Chris Woods added 17 and James Crowder 14.
* Pfeiffer’s women thumped Coker 97-87. Domonique China scored 20 points for the Falcons. Shanee Purnell scored 18, and Devona Knight had 16 points and 16 boards. Nicole Maready (Davie) had 14 points, while Carly Booth (Davie) scored 12.
Pfeiffer is at No. 1 Barton tonight.
