GOLD HILL ó The Gold Miners Cafe has opened for business in the historic Gold Hill village.
Formerly Miss Ruby’s, the restaurant is located at 840 St. Stephens Church Road.
Benny Fraley is the owner; Cindy Aldridge, the manager.
Fraley has 23 years of experience in the restaurant business.
Gold Miners Cafe will mark its opening with a ribbon-cutting at 1 p.m. Saturday, but the restaurant actually opened this past Thursday.
The menu includes plate specials and an array of seafood, steak, chicken, burgers and pizza.
“A little bit of everything, plus drink specials,” Aldridge said.
Restaurant hours are from 5 to 10 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday.
