Millbridge Elementary School
The following students were named Good Citizens for the month of May:
Kindergarten: Axel Benitez, Julian Nichols, Journey Moore, Daren Williamson, Daniel Kirk, Eden Oliver, Emmaline Boswell-Birmingham, Jacob Leach, Cooper Miller and Braxon Hull.
First grade: McKenlyn Sanders, Emily Burch, Braylie Eddinger, Noah Owens, Leighton Hawkins, Emily Simon, Bralynn McElligott, Maria Rodriguez, Adalyn Bostian and Anson Farmer.
Second grade: Pacey Smith, Ethan Freeman, Christina Jenkins, Brayden Black, Allison Landaverde, Zoe Miller, Riley Reid and Jayden Athey.
Third grade: Aiden Davis, Abigail Sotelo-Salgado, Cole Wheeler, Century Hunsucker, James Poteat, Cheyanne McElligott, Jasmine Seastrand, Kaleb Osbourne, Keaton Sloop and Samantha Markle.
Fourth grade: Alyssa Barbee, Evan Cox, Franklin Ferguson, Michael Kellison, Taylor Vandine, Ivy Vinson, Gabe Neal and Brynna Raney.
Fifth grade: Bella Frieze, Fabian Morales, Justin Burleson, Ashley Lyerly, Christopher Andrews, Rigoberto Sanchez-Garcia, Hannah Byrd and Khloey Williams.
The College of William and Mary
Joseph Lewis, from Salisbury, was recently named to the Dean’s List at William and Mary for the spring 2018 semester.
In order to achieve Dean’s List status, a full-time degree seeking undergraduate student must take at least 12 credit hours and earn a 3.6 quality point average during the semester.
Clemson University
Benton T. Kribbs and Joshua Michael Rowell, both of Salisbury, graduated from Clemson University on May 10.
Carson-Newman University
Tori Gaul, of Gold Hill, was named to the Spring 2018 Dean’s List at Carson-Newman University. The university awards Dean’s List honors to students earning a grade point average of 3.5 or higher while taking 12 or more credit hours.
Gaul graduated from the university this Spring with a bachelor of arts in biology.
