Dr. Alexander Hayden Hunter of Woodleaf graduated magna cum laude from Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine on Sunday, May 10, 2018. After two years of didactic training in Lillington, he spent the past two years fulfilling his clinical requirements at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury.

A 2009 graduate of Salisbury High School and a 2013 undergraduate of Wake Forest University. Dr. Hunter is the son of Gerald and Linda Hunter of Woodleaf. He is the grandson of William and Kay Hunter of Woodleaf and the late John and JoAnne Duda of New Castle, Pa. Alex, and wife, Devereaux Swaim Hunter, will reside in Danville, Pa., where Dr. Hunter will begin his anesthesia residency at Geisinger Medical Center in June.
