Letter: FBI has slipped

I recently retired from a nearly three-decade-long career in law enforcement. I knew several “street level” FBI agents, and they were wonderful, honest, lawful fellows, who “had our backs.”
But the upper levels of the agency who used to be the paragon of virtue, the preeminent law enforcement agency in the world, has so sadly slipped — no, fallen — to a level that is repugnant. Where has America gone? Drain the swamp, Mr. President, drain all the swamp.
