Program on pending NC income tax legislation, today 6 p.m. dinner; 7 p.m. program. BlueBay Restaurant on Statesville Blvd. hosted by Rowan County Tea Party. The pending legislation is to reduce cap on personal income tax from 10 percent to 5.5.  The senate passed this in March of 2017 and it was sent to the House Finance Committee where it has been sitting for over a year.  The bill gives us an opportunity to vote on this constitutional  amendment in November.
