Wes Rhinier: Future is here

The rule of law is the legal principle that law should govern a nation, as opposed to being governed by arbitrary decisions of individual government officials.
Tyranny can be defined by that which is legal for the government but illegal for the citizenry. Also cruel and unfair treatment by people with powers over others.
I believe the rule of law is and has been dead. None of us wanted to face the world we thought was coming in the future; now that future is here. There is no rule of law in this once great country.
Our government officials don’t even try to hide it anymore. Peter Strzok slapped us in the face with his lawlessness and smiled. The first foundation of a civil society is the rule of law. Without it, there is literally nothing other than the law of the jungle.
If any ordinary citizen had done the things the previous administration has done, they would be rotting in a jail cell for the rest of their lives.
If the destruction of the rule of law is not addressed now, there is a very real risk that the spiral of events that has been growing, first slowly and now exponentially, could erupt into war within our own nation.
The collective inaction and refusal to demand the restoration of the rule of law by the American people has and will lead to this outcome. There is no violent repression by police or anyone else that can stop it.
Only restoring the rule of law so everyone has equal recourse to the law will stop and reverse what is otherwise inevitable.
We have been taught since childhood that fighting solves nothing, but is this really true? Isn’t our country and our freedom worth fighting for? History has shown that violence in the face of tyranny is often necessary. Let’s hope our government officials will wake up, see what is happening and restore the rule of law; then again we see how good they are at policing themselves.
Peter Strzok, Hillary Clinton,Obama,Eric Holder etc., the list could go on, are laughing at us as they walk free, while anyone else would be rotting in a cell is yet another dividing point for what is left of the country. One side understands the rule of law and the consequences when it is replaced by the rule of man. The other side asks, “What difference does it make”?
Neither side will support liberty, so we are only left with the consequences of tyranny.
The Declaration of Independence states that “when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government.”
May God have mercy on our country.
