A Night at Caesar’s Palace: Nadirah Dance Company performs at Rail Walk

This Saturday the Looking Glass Artist Collective, 405 N. Lee St., will be transformed into a mini-casino for one night only as Nadirah Dance Company presents a “Night at Caesar’s Palace.”
The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door, on a first come, first served basis.
The show’s director Tammie Casper says, “The idea for the show came as a result of two things happening at the same time: for my birthday someone gave me a vintage show girl costume, and in the same week I found the perfect Cleopatra costume. Hence, the perfect idea for a show.”
Casper also promises that Julius Caesar himself will be on hand to host the evening in royal style.
Guest stars are Midnight Magnolias and The Belly Jewels, returning to perform in the Black Box Theatre, located in Salisbury’s Rail Walk Arts District.
There will be a variety of bellydancing that includes all types of music and movement, from classic Egyptian to hip-hop and beyond.
Pre-show and intermission activities will include what you would expect at Caesar’s Palace: blackjack and poker tables. And what Vegas show would be complete without a photo-op ó have your picture taken with Caesar, or a member of the cast or crew, in your choice of several settings.
Nadirah promises a grand opener that you won’t forget, and a eye-popping closing number that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
