Contractors and construction crews are continuing work on the 100,000-square-foot West Rowan Elementary School.
The building is behind the current Cleveland Elementary School.
The new school, which is expected to be complete by December, will merge the student bodies of Cleveland and Woodleaf Elementary schools.
