Letter: Make the US a better place

The United States should always try to put the best interests of the country first. In trade deals, America should always look out for the farmers and the steel workers.
One of the greatest presidents in United States history, John F. Kennedy said “ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.” Like JFK, we should try and make this country a better place.
There should always be constant remembrance of veterans who died in foreign wars. There should be better trade deals with foreign countries that produce more jobs in American plants. Companies like Ford have been decimated by plant closures due to people relying on unskilled labor in Asia.
In everything, if more people stand up for America, this country can resolve the petty differences and stand for the Constitution.
