The more I hear about Professor Christine Blasey Ford and her accusations against Brett Kavanaugh, the more shocking I find it. I’m the mother of three daughters and one son; I feel for and can see both sides of the argument. But it seems to me that when one woman is attempting to ruin the reputation and life’s work of any man, he should have the right to face his accuser.

In this case, we’re not talking about a number of women or an act that occurred last year, or even 20 years ago. So, I ask why this woman’s claims are even relevant? Her story is far from complete, lacks important details, and/or corroboration.

So why do I see so many liberal talking heads not only claiming to believe her, but almost salivating over the pain and embarrassment she’s causing this esteemed man and his family?

Remember — one woman and one incident that went unreported for 36 years.

The damage likely has been done, even if she hides under a rock for eternity, while Kavanaugh and his loved ones will suffer the humiliation and degradation for the rest of their lives, especially if his appointment is denied. Have you ever read how Anita Hill’s accusations against Clarence Thomas affect him and his wife to this day?

One thing I know for sure: If a male of any age had done something to me that I found so horrendous, to the point of wanting to be the cause of his ruination, I’d be ready to fight. I’d want to stand up there, face him down, forcefully and fully telling my story while looking him and everyone else straight in the eye. For me, it would be cathartic, something I had to do, regardless of the outcome.

Just sayin’.
