ROCKWELL — Powles Staton Funeral Home will hold its annual Veterans Appreciation Breakfast at 9 a.m. Oct. 11 at the funeral home, 913 W. Main St., Rockwell.

The free breakfast for military veterans will include an assortment of sandwiches.

Those attending can register to win a gift card basket. They also are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy for the funeral home’s Operation Toy Soldier.

Powles Staton also will accept used U.S. flags for its Retire Your Flag With Honor program.
