The Cove Church celebrates 20 Years
MOORESVILLE — The weekend of November 10-11 the Cove Church celebrates its 20-year anniversary. The Cove first met in two local elementary schools before moving to a permanent home on Langtree Road, and then expanding to additional campuses across the region. NEW LONDON — On Sunday, New London United Methodist Church, 206 S. Main St., will host a Music in Missions Concert at 4:30 p.m. This date is the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I. In observance, the concert is “The Pity of War: A Requiem for All Affected by World War I.”
Guest soloist is Dr. David Hamilton, a member of the voice faculty at Catawba College. There is no charge for the concert; an offering will be received to assist the Kannapolis Bible Teaching Association.
