Rowan weather: Sunny and breezy

It’s going to be another mostly sunny day, with a high of 58, but the winds could be challenging to those at the Southern Rowan Christmas Parade this afternoon.

Wind will be from the west at 5-11 mph, then shift to north northwest in the afternoon with gusts up to 20 mph.

Tonight will be clear and cold, with a low of 31 and north wind around 6 mph calming overnight.

Wednesday will be sunny and 54, with west wind around 6 mph. It will be a good day for the Tis the Season Spectacular in Spencer and Salisbury. Wednesday night will be clear, with a low of 33 and light wind.

Thanksgiving Day will be sunny and 51, with calm wind becoming northeast around 5-7 mph. The low will be 26, with partly cloudy skies.

Friday might be a bit cool for shopping, with a high of 45 and mostly sunny skies. After 11 p.m., we’ll have a 70 percent chance of showers. It will be cloudy and 37.

Saturday has an 80 percent chance of showers, mainly before 4 p.m. It will be cloudy and 51. Saturday night’s chance of showers is just 30 percent, mostly before 7 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 52.

Sunday will be a nice day, mostly sunny and 59. A 30 percent chance of showers is possible Sunday night, with mostly cloudy skies and a low of 43.

Monday, too, will have a 30 percent chance of showers, but it will be mostly sunny and 54.
