Gardner-Webb Alpha Chi
Gardner-Webb University inducted 37 members into Alpha Chi, a national collegiate honor society, in a ceremony Nov. 11 in Hamrick Hall.
Among the inductees was Celsea Reeder of Salisbury, a biology major with a concentration in biomedical sciences and a Spanish minor.
Alpha Chi promotes academic excellence and exemplary character among college and university students and honors those who achieve such distinction. Membership is open to juniors and seniors who demonstrate strong character and whose GPA ranks them in the top 10 percent of their academic classes.
The Gardner-Webb North Carolina Zeta Chapter of Alpha Chi was established in 1972.
