The Rockwell Museum Festival of Trees and Christmas village is in final preparations before opening Friday evening.
The opening will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the museum, 111 E. Main St. in Rockwell.
The festival will run through Dec. 16.
The Festival of Trees includes several live Christmas trees decorated by businesses, civic groups, schoolchildren and individuals.
The theme of the mini-village this year is “Christmas in the Old West.” It will include scenes from the Mississippi River to the Northwest Pacific, south to old Mexico and spots in between.
