First and second graders went Through the Looking Glass last week at Waterworks Visual Arts Center during a Summer ARTful Adventures class.
With instructor Debbie Hoffman, students explored the magical and mystical “wonderland” of Lewis Carroll. Using clay, paint, and paper-craft, students created characters such as the Jabberwock and the Cheshire Cat.
On Friday, Aug. 14, the last day of class, families were invited to a Mad Hatter Tea Party, with the students playing all the characters.
