The Steward Board of Sandy Ridge AME Zion Church will sponsor its inaugural Stewards and Deacons Community Fellowship Program on Sunday at 3 p.m. Rev. Harold Jordan, pastor of Third Creek AME Zion Church, will be the guest speaker.

‘The Roots of Billy Graham’
CONCORD — The annual meeting of Concord Friends of the Library features Jim Lutzweiler speaking on “The Roots of Billy Graham” at 2 p.m. on Jan. 26.
Mr. Lutzweiler has made a lifelong study of religious fundamentalism. He has been archivist and rare book collector at Southeastern Theological Seminary and a history professor at Guilford Community College.
This free event will be held in the auditorium of the Cabarrus County Public Library, 27 Union St. North.
