Gold Hill Foundation’s annual meeting is Monday

The Historic Gold Hill and Mines Foundation Inc. will hold its annual membership meeting at 7 p.m. Monday. The meeting and social hour will at the Russell-Rufty Shelter in Gold Hill Mines Historic Park.
Members and guests are invited. Current members may pay membership fees oat the meeting.
Foundation President Jay Culp and committee chairmen will give reports on the past year’s projects, treasury and proposed projects for 2019. Awards will be presented for service projects in the park.
Aaron Kepley, executive director of Rowan Museum, will be the keynote speaker, presenting a short program highlighting 19th-century farming and the gold mining industry in Rowan County.
A social hour with refreshments will follow in the Veterans Room.
