Feb 13 Police Blotter: Local SECU a 5-time victim of fraud

SALISBURY — The State Employees’ Credit Union in the 1000 block of Mooresville Road reported fraud.
The credit union said someone stole a credit card that was issued by the bank. It was used at a BP Ruschco store.
According to a Rowan County Sheriff’s Office report, there were four instances of fraud between Oct. 31 and Dec. 3.
The Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incidents.
In other Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:
• A woman reported a burglary at her residence in the 200 block of Farm House Road.
• A man reported theft and damage of property in the 200 block of Elliot Drive.
• A man reported theft at his residence in the 100 block of Pinewood Drive.
• A student assaulted another student in the 100 block of St. Luke’s Church Road.
• Someone was in possession of marijuana at North Enochville Avenue and Smith Road in Kannapolis.
• Drug paraphernalia was found in the 100 block of Timway Drive, Kannapolis.
• Union Power Co. reported theft in the 600 block of Wyatt Grove Church Road, Gold Hill.
• Brandon Edward Fitzgerald was charged with breaking and entering in the 200 block of Farm House Road.
• Brett Harrison White was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia in the 100 block of Timway Drive, Kannapolis.
• Hannah Leigh Habenicht was charged with possession of controlled substance Schedule VI at Enochville Avenue and Smith Road, Kannapolis.
• David Warren Sanford was charged with possession of controlled substance Schedule VI in the 100 block of West Liberty Street.
• Dalton Montino Deshaun was charged with possession of a Schedule VI narcotic with the intent manufacture and sell in the 200 block of North Main Street.
In Salisbury Police Department reports:
• Outback Steakhouse reported counterfeit money in 1000 block of East Innes Street.
• McDonald’s reported counterfeit money in the 700 block of East Innes Street.
• A woman reported a burglary and unlawful entry in the 1200 block of Old Plank Road.
• A woman reported theft from her vehicle in the 100 block of Marriot Circle.
• A man reported a stolen bicycle in the 500 block of Franklin Street.
• A man reported a burglary in the 1200 block of South Fulton Street.
• A man reported theft in the 500 block of East Innes Street.
• A woman reported a burglary at her residence through forcible entry at 1100 block of West Horah Street.
• A man said his motor vehicle was stolen in the 800 block of Klumac Road.
• A woman reported the threat of a drive-by shooting in the 120 block of East 11th Street.
• Bacco Construction Co. reported theft from one of its motor vehicles in the 120 block of Marriott Circle.
• Cameron Alfonzo Bacon was charged with conspiracy to commit a felony in the 110 block of West Liberty Street.
• Cameron Alfonzo Bacon was charged with breaking and entering into vehicles in the 110 block of West Liberty Street.
