AHAVAH Church of God continues revival
AHAVAH Church of God and Outreach Ministries’ seven-day revival on The Seven Churches of Asia Minor continues through March 9.
March 8: At Solid Rock Church of God, 1004 Locke St. Pastor Amay Cates. Philadelphia-Rev: 3:7-13, the Faithful Church.
March 9: At Solid Rock Church of God, Minister Shatara Edwards. Laodicea-Rev: 3:14-22, the Luke Warm Church.

CLEVELAND — Moore’s Chapel AME Zion Church, 5890 South River Church Road, will hosts Family & Friends Day on Sunday at 3 p.m. Special guest speaker will be Y-Tusahe Mcneill, pastor Of New Restoration Church of Kannapolis.

Free community dinner at FUMC-CG
CHINA GROVE — First UMC China Grove, 110 W Church St., hosts a free community dinner Sundays at 4 p.m. followed by praise, worship and Bible study at 4:30 p.m.
Walking through Holy Week at First UCC
First United Church of Christ, 207 W. Horah St., presents Walking Through Holy Week, examining what happened between Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday.
Each weekly speaker will present the events of a different day of Holy Week. Beginning the journey will be Rev. Dr. Edward Davis, conference minister of the Southern Conference of the United Church of Christ, speaking on Monday of Holy Week.

Lenten Music & Meditation
Pastors Rhodes Woolly and Laura Henrik of St. John’s Lutheran Church, along with area musicians, will present brief services of Music and Meditation during the lunch hour on three consecutive Mondays during the Lenten Season. They will be held in the St. John’s Chapel, 200 W. Innes St., on Mondays March 11, 18, and 25 from 12:15-12:45 p.m. The services will include prayer and meditation, and special music by Davis Brown, piano (March 11); Sacha Witt, trombone (March 18); and Rosemary Kinard, flute and Rob Durocher, piano (March 25).
Purpose Driven Life classes
Purpose Driven Life classes are hosted by In My Father’s House, led by Rev. Roosevelt Jenkins. They are held from 10-11 a.m. on the first and second Thursday of each month, at Brookdale Assisted Living, 2201 Statesville Blvd. The next study date is March 14.
The LeFevre Quartet
The LeFevre Quartet will be in concert at First Baptist Church of Salisbury, 223 N. Fulton St., on Thursday, March 14 at 7 p.m. This is a free concert with a love offering being taken.
Tower of Power annual Gospel Concert
Tower of Power United Holy Church, 601 E. IMF Scholarship Committee accepting applications
The Interdenominational Ministers Fellowship (IMF) Scholarship Committee is accepting applications for the 2019 IMF Treasure Feamster Scholarship. Deadline is April 5; must be postmarked by that date. Scholarships are available for high school seniors who are members of an IMF-affiliated church, regardless of chosen field of study.
