Letter: Salisbury Post prints liberal hypocrisy

Have you ever wondered why polls don’t show higher ratings than 93% of news media biased against President Donald Trump and supporters?

Simple, honest news entities such as the Washington Times, the Hill and The Wall Street Journal hold it under 99%. When I opened my Salisbury Post on March 24, liberal hypocrisy was smeared wall-to-wall from the AP, the Washington Post and Bloomberg. It is so sad that the aforementioned, honest sources can be printed in local papers just as easily as the dishonest ones. It’s another form of dishonesty if anyone tries to tell you differently.

When I lived in Virginia, the local paper in Farmville — The Farmville Herald — was edited by Ken Woodley. That newspaper is another child of the socialist Boone Newspapers and just as far left as the Post.

There was a major difference, however. Woodley, having a conscience, would print all letters received without editing out “uncomfortable points.” Over the years I’ve lost track of the letters and parts thereof mangled and/or not printed by the Salisbury Post.

My case-in-point is the March 24 Insight section front page. The Washington Post went to great length to inform readers of all the indictments of Trump’s friends, Russians and Trump’s evil intentions. What the Washington Post overlooked is that there isn’t a shred of evidence to condemn Trump of any collusion or obstruction.

We saw two years wasted, $25 million spent, numbers of innocent “subjects and witnesses” of Mueller’s investigation forced into bankruptcy with legal bills and good reputations destroyed without any proof of wrongdoing. Some were forced into home foreclosures, with the kids’ college funds wiped out.

Hypocrisy was our Lord’s No. 1 sin to preach against. There’s a clear line between sin and evil. Jesus drew that line in Luke 11:23. Wake up!
