SALISBURY — The LandTrust for Central North Carolina has canceled a hike and holiday gathering it had planned for Sunday at Boone’s Cave Park.

The decision to cancel was based on weather forecasts calling for 90-100 percent chance of rain on Sunday. The land trust expects to reschedule the event for sometime in January or February 2015.
