Austin Ray Peacock, 17, of Mooresville, received his Eagle Scout Award Sunday, May 19, 2019, at Ebenezer Lutheran Church. Former Scoutmaster Lewis Safrit of Troop 328 made the presentation.
Austin has earned 32 merit badges and has served as Senior Patrol Leader and Assistant Patrol Leader. He earned his Arrow of Light in 2013, Cub Scout’s highest achievement.
A Junior at South Rowan High School, Austin is the son of Mark and Rhonda Peacock of Mooresville; the grandson of Ronnie and Priscilla Lipe of China Grove and Clyde and Gail Peacock of Mooresville; and the great-grandson of Lillian Mault of China Grove.
Austin’s Eagle project was a playground landscaping project at St. Paul’s Reformed Church in Enochville.
