Salisbury Academy congratulates their class of 2019: Miles Abramson, Damian Brandon, Katherine Burton, Jaiden Colbert, Kendall Colwell, Brooke Cunningham, Quinn Davidson, Rodina Eliwa, Wyatt Goodnight, Abigail Lawson, Kaylan Lowe, Harrison McCall, Gabriella Nagy, Leah Renten, Elsie Richter, Ann Hunter Robertson, Nathaniel Shaffer, Courtney Williams, Lucy Woods and Bailey Zino.

The 2019 Salisbury Academy graduates will move onto Gray Stone Day School, Jesse C. Carson High School, Rowan County Early College, Salisbury High School and West Rowan High School.

Seventeen Salisbury Academy alumni will graduate from area high school programs and will progress into the next chapters of their educational journeys.

Next steps for local Salisbury Academy alumni high school graduates include: Isabella Almazan will move on to the Savannah College of Art and Design; Annabel Barr to Wake Forest University; Sarah Clifton to Lees-McRae College; Sam Combs to Appalachian State University; Britney Ervin to Rowan-Cabarrus Community College; Lila Harry to Appalachian State University; Evan Hollingsworth to a North Carolina college or university.

Zach Johnson will go to Furman University; Cheyenne Kober to East Carolina University; Katie Leckonby to Fairleigh-Dickinson University; Ryan Lutz to East Carolina University; William Lutz to Charleston Southern University or the University of North Carolina Charlotte; Carsyn Parrott oto the University of North Carolina Wilmington; Harrison Parrott to the University of North Carolina Wilmington; Katie Pryor to Rowan-Cabarrus Community College; Bunny Showfety to High Point University; and and Ellen Simons to the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.

“Their futures hold great promise and the students are ready to take this next, exciting step,” Salisbury Academy Head of School Beverly Fowler said of this year’s graduates, both the class of 2015 and the class of 2019.
