Leak Graduation

Rev. Monica Turner Leak received the Master of Divinity Degree from the John Leland Center for Theological Studies in Arlington, Va., during its June 1, 2019 commencement.
Rev. Leak holds the following degrees: Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from Appalachian State University in Boone; a Master of Arts in Speech/Language Pathology from South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, S.C.; and a Master of Library Science from North Carolina Central University in Durham.
Having worked in several systems in North Carolina, Rev. Leak is currently employed as a Speech Pathologist in the Charles County School System in Waldorf, Md. She also works as a part-time librarian at the John Leland Center.
During the summer, Rev. Leak will be doing an internship in Administration and Ministry at McLean Baptist Church in McLean, Va.
A graduate of Salisbury High School, she is pictured at a graduation reception with her parents, Revs. William and Patricia Turner and her sister, Melody Monroe.
