Christmas Happiness:

In response to the commercialization of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, some nonprofits dubbed the Tuesday after Thanksgiving as “Giving Tuesday.”
But every day is a giving day for Christmas Happiness. Some $1,600 came in on Friday — money that will help parents and guardians get gifts for some 53 children.
The money Christmas Happiness collects goes to the Salvation Army, which gives qualifying families a $30 voucher per child to buy toys and clothes.
The giving season is definitely here, and every donation is appreciated.

Box 4639, Salisbury, N.C. 28145-4639. Please make checks payable to Christmas Happiness Fund and indicate how you want your donation listed.
For those who wish to apply for help from Christmas Happiness, there’s one more sign-up day. The Rowan County Christmas Bureau will take applications for Christmas Happiness, the Salvation Army Angel Tree, Toys for Tots, Operation Santa and Project Santa next Saturday, Dec. 6, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Hurley YMCA on Jake Alexander Boulevard.
