SALISBURY — Beltone, which has had longtime hearing aid centers in Salisbury and China Grove, has merged those offices and moved to a new location at Klumac Square Shopping Center.
The new address is 512 Klumac Road, Suite 7.
The former offices were at 1921 W. Innes St. in Salisbury and 213 N. Main St. in China Grove.
Angela Melton and Matthew Thomas will head the new location. Melton’s parents and Thomas’ grandparents — Lee and Marie Wade — have long been associated with the Salisbury office and are retiring this year.
Beltone will continue to offer a variety of services, including cleaning and repairs on all makes and models of hearing aids (not just Beltone); free audio-metric testing; free ear exams; cerumen (ear wax) maintenance and management; free product demonstrations and consultations; and a variety of hearing aids and related products, such as batteries, wax guards and dry-and-store units.
Angela Melton is an East Rowan High School graduate who has worked for Beltone for more than 25 years . She has been a licensed hearing instrument specialist for that long. She is married with two grown children and three grandchildren, and she enjoys cooking and vacationing.
Born and raised in Rockwell, Thomas graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in history. He has been a licensed hearing instrument specialist for over six years and has worked with Beltone for 10 years. He enjoys fishing and golf.
