SPENCER – Central United Methodist Church will celebrate 20 years of putting on a puppet ministry every summer with “Circus Train” on Saturday.
The mission of Circus Train is to let people know that Jesus loves them, said former Pastor Patti Kluttz.
The theme this year is “Fruit of the Spirit and Showing God’s Love.”
Activities will begin at 7 p.m. with food. The Circus Train puppet show will be from 7:30 to 8 p.m. Free snow cones will be available starting at 8 p.m.
The public is invited.
Circus Train will be at Library Park at 300 Fourth St. in Spencer.
With free hot dogs, snow cones, singing, dancing, and more, Circus Train is something that should not be missed, Kluttz said.
Former puppeteers will join in on the fun of the outdoor puppet show.
Previous puppeteers who were children when they participated in the show are expected to bring their families to Circus Train. The original pastor of Central UMC, Rodney Hagans, will attend, too.
“It is a great outdoor activity,” said Kluttz.
