Nick Lyerly (East Rowan, UNCG) shot 5-under 65 in Porter Cup Friday in Niagara Falls, best round of the day, and is 3-over for three rounds. The fourth round is Saturday.

Lyerly, who shot 74s on Wednesday and Thursday, is still 15 shots back of the leader heading into Saturday’s final round.
