SALISBURY — Shots were fired at Lakewood Apartment Homes on Friday evening, but no one was injured, according to the Salisbury Police Department.

Police were called to the apartment complex on Lakewood Drive.

Sgt. Travis Shulenberger of the Criminal Investigations Unit said no one was hit and the case is under investigation.

Shulenberger said officers interviewed witnesses at the scene. Police have not identified a suspect.

“We’re still nailing down how many shots were fired,” Shulenberger said.

A woman was taken into custody but she was not charged in the shooting, he said.
