Published 12:00 am Monday, November 30, 2009
The sixth annual Walk Thru Bethlehem is coming on two weekends: Fridays, Dec. 4 and 11 from 6-9 p.m. and Saturdays, Dec. 5 and 12 from 2-9 p.m. at Camp Wesley.
More daytime hours have been added this year to accommodate families and those who don’t like to go out at night. Organizers expect more than 200 actors and 4,000 visitors this year.
Camp Wesley is on Deal Road (extension of Linwood Road) between Mooresville and Kannapolis.
The community is invited to the interactive, biblical-era marketplace with crafts, food and music.
The event is free and is sponsored by partner churches Central UMC, First Presbyterian, Lake Norman Fellowship, St Therese Catholic, St. Luke Orthodox, Triplett UMC, Beulah Heights Wesleyan, Unity UMC and Camp Wesley.
