Here’s a list of closings and changes to services for the Thanksgiving holiday:
– County offices will close at 1 p.m. Wednesday and remain closed Thursday and Friday. County recycling centers will close at noon on Wednesday and remained closed Thursday and Friday. The county landfill will be closed Thursday only.
– Salisbury offices will close at 2 p.m. Wednesday and remain closed through Friday. City buses will not run Thursday but will be running Friday on Saturday schedules/routes. Garbage will be collected Thursday and Friday. No yard waste will be collected Thursday or Friday.
– Kannapolis offices will be closed Thursday and Friday. Garbage and loose leaf collection will not take place Thursday. Collection of garbage for Thursday routes and leaves for Zone 9 will take place Friday. Garbage collection for Friday routes and leaves in Zone 10 will be Saturday.- Faith town offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.
– Spencer town offices will close Wednesday and remain closed Thursday and Friday. Garbage pickup will be affected as follows: Monday and Tuesday routes picked up on Monday; Wednesday’s route picked up on Tuesday; Thursday’s route picked up on Wednesday.
– East Spencer town offices and city services will close at noon on Wednesday and remain closed Thursday and Friday. Scheduled city services will resume on Saturday.
– Rockwell town offices will close at 1 p.m. Wednesday and remain closed Thursday and Friday.
– Landis town offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.
– China Grove town offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.
– Granite Quarry town offices will be closed Thursday and Friday. Garbage collection will be Saturday.
– Cleveland town offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.
– The Rowan-Salisbury School System will be closed Wednesday through Friday.
– Kannapolis City Schools will be closed Wednesday through Friday.
– The Social Security Administration at 1816 E. Innes St. will be closed Thursday.
