The Rowan County Health Deparment will have a seasonal flu clinic Tuesday.
There is no appointment necessary, walk-ins are welcome said Nurse Director Sharon Owen.
The clinic will be Nov. 3 from 1 p.m.-4:45 p.m. at the Health Department, 1811 E. Innes St.
Anyone wishing to get the vaccine is asked to bring their insurance, Medicaid or Medicare cards. If someone does not have insurance, the cost is $25.
There will be a standard screening to check for illness.
“If they are severely ill, they can’t have the vaccine, but if they have a slight cold it does not prohibit them from taking the vaccine,” Owen said.
