Rowan weather: Warming trend through the week

The last few mornings have been a big change from what we’re used to. Temperatures will slowly build through the week, but we might escape the 90s.

Today will be partly sunny and 78, with east northeast wind at 5-7 mph. Tonight will be mostly cloudy and 64, with light northeast wind. Patchy fog will form around 4 a.m.

Tuesday will have a 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after 1 a.m. We’ll start with patchy fog, then it will be cloudy and 79, with light, variable wind.

Tuesday night will have a 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 11 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 66. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected.

Wednesday will be partly sunny and 85, with light west southwest wind. There is a 50 percent chance of showers, then showers and storms after 11 a.m. The chance of showers and storms drops to 20 percent Wednesday night, with showers and storms before 11 p.m., then showers between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m. It will be partly cloudy and 65.

Thursday will be mostly sunny and 85. The low will be 62, with mostly clear skies.

Friday will be sunny and 87, with a low of 63 and clear skies.

Saturday will be sunny and 88. The low will be 66 with mostly clear skies.

Sunday will be mostly sunny and 87, with a 30 percent chance of showers.
