Habitat for Humanity of Rowan County will hold a Port-A-Pit chicken dinner fundraiser Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Salisbury Civic Center.
Meals will be $8 apiece and will include a half chicken, potato salad, slaw, a roll and dessert.
Seating will be available for those who want to eat at the Civic Center. Take-out service and drive-through will be available as well as delivery for orders of 10 or more meals.
Through 2 p.m. Monday, call in orders at 704-642-6292 or fax orders to 704-636-8397. On Tuesday, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., call in orders to 704-638-5277. Two hours notice is needed for delivery requests on Tuesday.
Payment can be made by cash or check made payable to Habitat for Humanity of Rowan County. Payment can be made in advance, at the Civic Center or at the time of delivery.
Proceeds from the fundraiser are used to build houses in Rowan County for families in need.
