Traffic signal work will affect East Innes and Lee streets
Published 12:10 pm Wednesday, September 4, 2019
The Salisbury City Traffic Signals Division will perform signal maintenance to the intersection of East Innes Street and Lee St Thursday.
Power to the intersection will be disabled during construction. Innes Street will only have one lane closed at a time, beginning no earlier than 9 a.m.
The 100 block of both North and South Lee streets will be closed mid-block at the intersection. The closure will not hinder access to any driveways. These closures may begin about 8:30 a.m.
Any vehicles needing to turn left onto North Lee Street can do so at Depot Street, as the restriction of turns will be covered and waived during construction. Vehicles turning left onto South Lee Street will need to turn left onto South Church Street.
This work could take until 4 p.m. to complete. This work is weather pending, but the forecast for at least the majority of this work appears to be cooperating. Any work not completed will have to be re-scheduled. For questions, please call engineering at 704-638-5200.
