Salisbury Academy has received a $750 grant from the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance program to support the school’s technology program.
In an effort to become more environmentally friendly, Salisbury Academy will use this money to buy a new projector and screen. This will allow the school to become “greener” by reducing its reliance on paper.
Joey Rusher of Rusher Oil Co. worked with school officials to secure the grant, which is one of 2,400 available to schools across the country.
“As an Exxon retailer, we are proud to be able to offer this grant to such a worthy school,” Rusher said. “Salisbury Academy has always been successful in providing an environment conducive to learning.”
The ExxonMobil Educational Alliance program is designed to provide Exxon and Mobil retailers an opportunity to invest in the future of their communities through educational grants to neighborhood schools.
Rusher Oil Co. met eligibility criteria before applying for and receiving this grant.
