Dr. Gary and Jean Price, of Kannapolis, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2019. They celebrated their anniversary with family and friends.

The Prices were united in marriage Aug. 15, 1969, by the Rev. G.E. Weatherby, Church of God preacher. Gary is a retired pastor. He was a pastor for 25 years. Jean is a retired teacher. She taught for five years.

The couple have three sons, Gary Jr. (Peggy) of Salisbury, Jeff (Kristen) of Nashville, Tenn. and Chris (Cari) of Salisbury. They also have seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
