Maria Antionette Simpson, 28, of Salisbury, was arrested Friday and charged with first degree arson.
According to the arrest report, Simpson is charged with setting fire to a home at 211 East Bank St. on Oct. 22 while Michael Lee Glenn was inside.
Simpson was placed in jail under a $25,000 secured bond.
