CHINA GROVE ó Federal, state and local agencies are involved in the investigation of a China Grove man caught with child pornography.
On Tuesday, the SBI charged Jason Anthony Walker, 24, 105 First Ave. E., with five counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
Capt. John Sifford of the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation began on Oct. 7 and is continuing.
The arrest came after the SBI executed a search warrant on Monday, seizing a computer and videos from Walker’s home.
The videos, downloaded from Internet porn sites, depicted adults having sex with minors.
Sifford said federal Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and Salisbury Police have also been involved in the investigation and surveillance of Walker.
Sifford said the investigation indicates Walker had shared the videos with others, transmitting them over the Internet.
Walker is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center with bond set at $25,000.
