A Salisbury Police car was rear-ended Tuesday morning on Jake Alexander Boulevard.
The car was one of two patrol cars parked at a wreck scene on Jake Alexander Boulevard near the J.F. Hurley Family YMCA around 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Deputy Police Chief Rory Collins said the cars were parked at the scene in such a way to shield the crash they were investigating from oncoming traffic.
