Police taser dog

A Rowan County Sheriff’s deputy used a Taser to subdue a pit bull that attacked another dog and then came after two deputies.
Margaret Gainey, of 160 Susan Lane, reported Sunday that a vicious dog had attacked a Jack Russell mix and was threatening people.
Capt. John Sifford said deputies responded around 6 a.m. encountered the pit bill. “It came after them aggressively and would not back down,” he said.
One of the deputies used a Taser to subdue the dog, which was restrained and picked up by Rowan County Animal Control.
