A Cabarrus County man found in his front yard with gunshot wounds Wednesday morning has died.
Jaime Duque Rivera, 25, lived at 3895 Pintail Drive in the Countryview Mobile Home Park, according to a press release from the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call at 6 a.m. Wednesday from 3899 Pintail Drive about a gunshot victim at the nearby residence. Rivera was transported to Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast, where he later died, the release said.
The investigation is ongoing, and the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information about Rivera’s death to call Detective B.A. Schmitt at 704-920-3000 or Cabarrus Crime Stoppers at 704-93-CRIME.
