Scott Brown
Anthony “Scott” Brown from Salisbury has been promoted to AMC VQ-1-chief petty officer in the U.S. Navy.
Brown has traveled over the world since joining the Navy on Sept. 16, 2001, with several deployments to the Qatar/Bahrain area as well as Japan, Guam and Curacao.
He and wife, Sara, and daughter, Dakotah Grace, reside in Oak Harbor, Wash.
Brown is the son of Guy and Joanne Brown of Salisbury. He attended Gospel Light Christian School and West Rowan High School.
