Concord wind tunnel featured in commercial for new Lexus
Windshear, the first full-scale rolling road wind tunnel in the United States, is now being featured in a Lexus commercial.
Lexus needed a way to demonstrate its 2010 ES model and found its solution at Windshear.
The commercial’s premise is based on the idea that the average person spends 40,000 hours driving and that every hour should be as great as the first. It shows various scenes in the background, before revealing the Lexus ES riding along the Windshear rolling road. The commercial was filmed during a three-day production in July.
“We are thrilled that Lexus and Team One (advertising) chose to use our facility for the commercial,” Windshear Site Manager Jeff Bordner said. “This shows the versatility of our facility and how it can be used in different mediums.”

Dr. Kenneth Rasbornik, a dentist in Cleveland, recently purchased a Waterlase MD turbo laser.
The laser is much different from a dental drill and never touches the tooth. The laser uses energy and a slight spray of water to perform restorations without heat, vibration and pressure.
Talina Goodman, a dental hygienist for Dr. Rasbornik said the laser can also allow patients to receive very little or no anesthetic at all. “We have had a lot of interest from current patients,” said Goodman.
