Carolina Lily of 1375 Kern Carlton Road is sponsoring a Halloween Costume Parade for Dogs to benefit the Faithful Friends Animal Sanctuary.
The event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 10:30 am. Entry fee for the parade is a $10 donation. Prizes will be awarded for the Best Couple (owner/dog), Purtiest, Funniest and Best Overall.
The Best Overall will have a $100 donation made by Carolina Lily to Faithful Friends in its honor and will receive a $50 gift certificate to Carolina Lily. Winners of the other categories will each have a $25 donation made in their honor and will receive a $25 gift certificate.
Any type of donation to Faithful Friends that day ó cash, pet food or supplies ó will enable the donor to receive 20 percent off any purchase at Carolina Lily. Pet photos will be taken by Carol Allen, and pet items made by Shannon Moore will be on sale.
